The WordPress Export is a .zip file built specifically to work with our WebCloner WordPress plugin. It lets you bring a cloned website's content directly into your WordPress site.
What is the WordPress Export file?
The WordPress Export is a .zip file built specifically to work with our WebCloner WordPress plugin. It lets you bring a cloned website's content directly into your WordPress site.
Step 1: Install the WebCloner plugin
Before importing, install our plugin on your WordPress site:
Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
Go to Plugins → Add New.
Search for “WebCloner”.
Click Install Now, then Activate.
You can also find the plugin directly here: WebCloner on WordPress.org.
Step 2: Get your export file
Go to webcloner.tech and paste the URL of the site you want to clone.
Click Start Cloning and wait for it to finish.
Download the WordPress Export (.zip) file.
Step 3: Import into WordPress
In your WordPress admin panel, go to Tools → WebCloner.
Upload or drag and drop the .zip file you downloaded.
Wait for the import to complete — your content will now appear in WordPress.
Note: This plugin must be installed and activated first, or the Tools → WebCloner menu won't appear.
